Men's golf alumni William Moll and Matthew Riedel return to Vanderbilt Legends Club for the Korn Ferry Tour Finals

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — A pair of Vanderbilt alumni return to middle Tennessee this week, as William Moll and Matthew Riedel continue their run in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals at Vanderbilt Legends Club. Play takes place Thursday-Sunday on the North Course and will air on Golf Channel.

The pair of All-Americans return to Vanderbilt Legends after placing inside the top 144 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. Riedel and Moll are in their first season on the Korn Ferry Tour. Both earned pro status through PGA TOUR University at the conclusion of the 2024 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship. The Vanderbilt duo qualified for the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation despite missing the first 12 tournaments of the 2024 season while concluding their Commodore careers.

The Korn Ferry Tour Finals begins Thursday at 6:35 a.m. on the North Course at Vanderbilt Legends. The Vandy duo opens Round 1 on the first tee box, with Moll starting at 8:25 a.m. and Riedel opening play at 11:45 a.m. The pair tee off from the 10th tee in Round 2 on Friday, with Riedel beginning at 6:35 a.m. and Moll taking the course at 1:35 p.m. Both will need to make the cut to advance to Saturday and Sunday.

Golf Channel will have coverage of the Korn Ferry Finals each day. Round 1 will air from noon to 3 p.m. CT, while Friday’s Round 2 will be shown on delay starting at 11 p.m. CT. Live coverage returns Saturday from 2-5 p.m. CT. NBC Sports will show Sunday’s final round from 2-3 p.m. CT with Golf Channel picking up live coverage from 3-5 p.m. CT.

A trio of Vanderbilt alumni will be playing in the Procore Championship on the PGA TOUR this weekend. Will Gordon, Cole Sherwood, and Brandt Snedeker will compete Thursday-Sunday in Napa, California at Silverado Resort. Fans can click here for the leaderboard and tee times.
