NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will be looking for a third consecutive victory as they face Furman Tuesday at 2 p.m. CT at the Currey Tennis Center.
Both teams are entering the match with recent ranked wins. The Commodores
(5-4) defeated No. 43 MTSU 5-2 on Sunday in Murfreesboro, marking the team’s second upset in one week. After falling to No. 1 Georgia 7-0 and No. 32 Tennessee 4-3, the Paladins (5-6) defeated No. 33 Kentucky 4-3 in Lexington on Monday afternoon.
Today’s contest will be the last non-conference match before the Commodores plunge into SEC season on Friday against Alabama in Nashville.
