MT Drops N.C. State, 5-2

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Vanderbilt’s 35th-ranked men’s tennis team stayed undefeated on Saturday with a 5-2 win over No. 26 NC State at the Michigan Varsity Tennis Center.

Vanderbilt (4-0) lost the doubles point for the first time this season, but was able to win five of the six singles matches to earn the victory.

Staying perfect in singles play this spring for VU was Vijay Paul, Evan Dufaux and Alex Zotov. Nick Cromydas and Bryant Salcedo also earned wins.

Vanderbilt will return to the courts tomorrow to face No. 18 Michigan at 11 a.m.
