The Vanderbilt men’s golf team heads to the 14th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational this Monday and Tuesday at the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C. The tournament is hosted by the University of South Carolina Aiken, a nationally-ranked Division II team.
The 14th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate will feature a 6,565-yard, par-70 setup at the Palmetto Golf Club. The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday, March 7. The 54-hole tournament will conclude with a single round on Tuesday, March 8.
USC Aiken is the only Division II team in the field with some of the top programs in all of NCAA golf competing in this year’s Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate. In addition to the host Pacers this year’s field includes Akron, Alabama, Chattanooga, Clemson, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Elon, Francis Marion, Furman, Georgia Southern, Kentucky, Liberty, Maryland, Presbyterian, Wofford, Vanderbilt and Virginia.
The Commodores, competing in their second tournament of the spring, will send Ryan Haselden, Adam Hofmann, Will Snipes, Trey DelGreco, and Ryan Thornton to play in the event.
