Men's Golf Inks Nation's Top Class

The Commodores bring in a trio of golfers ranked in the top 20 nationally in the Class of 2025

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s golf team searched coast-to-coast to find its 2025 signing class, and the Commodores were rewarded with the top class in the nation, as Will Hartman, Michael Riebe, and Jon Ed Steed each signed their National Letter of Intent to play Vandy starting in the fall of 2025.

“We are absolutely thrilled about this class and the quality and depth it will bring to our program,” said Vanderbilt men’s golf head coach Scott Limbaugh. “Anytime you can put together the No. 1 class in the country, it is truly a testament to all of the people who contribute to making our program what it is. Vanderbilt administration, former and current families and players, coaches, support staff, fans, and supporters. It takes all of us, and we are grateful.

“These are three outstanding young men from high-quality families who will continue to represent Vanderbilt University and our golf program with class while helping us compete for and win championships. This class really does speak to what we at Vanderbilt have to offer, as we welcome some of the best junior golfers in the world to our family. Obviously, there is a lot of credit that goes around on a day like today, and I want to specifically thank our assistant coaches, Austin Cody and Brady Edwards, for their outstanding work on Will, Michael, and Jon Ed. Recruiting is about having a belief in something and building relationships, and these guys worked diligently in helping us sign a class of this magnitude. These three newcomers are going to give our fans a lot to be excited about over their careers while wearing Black and Gold!”
