9/10/2006 ATHENS, Ga. — The Commodores wrapped up play at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships Sunday afternoon, with senior Jordan Magarik advancing to the fourth round of play. Magarik took the first set (6-3) and dropped a tiebreaker before finally falling 7-5 in the third set of the quarterfinals to UCF’s Jimmy Roesch. Vanderbilt teams Dufuax/Mack and Cromydas/Moye also competed on Sunday, in the third round of doubles action, but dropped contests to opponents from Duke and Virginia Tech. The Commodores will travel to Murfreesboro next weekend for the MTSU Invitational September 15-17.
