The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will take part in the Southern Intercollegiate Championship this weekend, held at the University of Georgia.

The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will take part in the Southern Intercollegiate Championship this weekend, held at the University of Georgia. Matches will take place September 24-27, 2004. There will be over 140 players competing and the field will consist of four singles flights and three doubles flights.

The Friday starting times for the Commodores playing in this event are as follows:

SINGLES

8:00 a.m. — Jordan Magarik vs. R.J. Murray (Alabama)

9:00 a.m. — Evan Dufaux vs. Marko Rejevac (GA Tech)

10:00 a.m. – Jason Pinsky vs. Kiril Tcherveniachki (Tennessee)

10:30 a.m. — Ryan Preston vs. 7 Clayton Almeida (Winthrop)

11:00 a.m. — Nathan Sachs vs. 10 Jose Muguruza (GA Tech)

12:00 p.m. — 4 Scott Brown vs. Aivaras Balzekas (Auburn-Mont.)

Doubles action will begin Saturday, September 25 and times are TBA:
