NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt tennis teams will continue SEC action this weekend, with the women facing Arkansas and LSU at home and the men wrapping up the Vanderbilt spring break on the road in Fayetteville and Baton Rouge.
The Commodore women (8-5, 2-0) will look to continue wins in the SEC West following their 7-0 victory over Alabama and 5-2 Auburn win on the road last weekend. Vanderbilt will face the Lady ‘Backs (6-4, 0-2) on Friday at 2:30 p.m., followed by LSU (6-3, 1-1) at noon on Sunday at the Currey Tennis Center.
The Commodore men (7-5, 1-1) are entering the contest with a recent SEC upset over Auburn at home. Arkansas (5-9, 0-2) is currently battling through a five-match losing streak including two recent conference losses. No. 15 LSU (7-2, 1-1) was recently stunned 6-1 by No. 1 Georgia following a win over Tennessee.
