List Third at UK Derby Invite; VU 2nd 5/9/2005 Lexington, Ky. – Sophomore Luke List shot 138 in the first two rounds and sits in third place and Vanderbilt shot 583 on day one of the Kentucky Derby Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky Monday at the University Club of Kentucky. The tournament is serving as a tune-up for teams before NCAA Regional competition begins next weekend. Kentucky leads the three-team tournament posting a 572. The Commdores are 11 strokes back while East Tennessee State posted a 588. ETSU’s Rhys Davies leads the field having shot nine-under par 63 in round one. He is 11-under par 133 for the tournament. UK’s John Holmes is eight-under par 136 after shooting 66 in the second round. List is third at six-under par 138. VU’s Will Armstrong is tied for sixth at three-over par 147. Senior Mark Donnell is tied for eighth at four-over 148. Dos Goldsmith shot 150 while Brett Lange shot a 160. Vanderbilt will wrap up play in the invitational Tuesday. Vanderbilt Results |
