With football season ticket sales continuing to move forward at a strong pace, Vanderbilt Athletics announced that less than 300 of the popular Family Plan ticket packages remain for the 2012 football season.
The Family Plan ticket package includes two adult and two youth season tickets, located in the south end zone for only $399. That equates to a per ticket cost of only $17 per game for the six-game home schedule which includes games against South Carolina, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee.
“We feel that the Family Plan is the best value in the SEC,” Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Walsh said, “We want to continue to target families in the Middle Tennessee area and let them know that Vanderbilt football is the perfect place to spend Saturday’s together in the fall.”
In an effort to continue to appeal to families, last season Vanderbilt Athletics launched a specific Kids Zone area in the popular Vandyville tailgating area. The Kids Zone, also known as Vandyville Too, features a wide array of inflatable games, special appearances by Vanderbilt student-athletes, treats such as sno-cones and cotton candy as well as plenty of green space for tossing around a football.
Fans who are interested in securing one of the remaining Family Plans can contact the Vanderbilt Ticket Office at 615-322-GOLD (4653).
