Limited Cutler Bobblehead Giveaway Announced 10/4/2006 In honor of Vanderbilt’s all-time leading passer and 2005 SEC Offensive Player of the Year Jay Cutler, Vanderbilt Athletics will distribute 1,000 free bobbleheads of his likeness prior to the October 21st home football game versus South Carolina. The giveaway line will officially open two hours prior to kickoff of the Commodore-Gamecock game. The line will be located outside the stadium on Jess Neely Drive, between the Commodores’ Star Walk and Gate 3 (closest to Hawkins Field). (note: do not go through any of the stadium gate entrances to get in the outside giveaway line) Due to the limited amount of bobbleheads, Commodore fans are restricted to just one prize per person until the stock runs out. Fans must have a Vanderbilt-South Carolina football ticket and must participate in the giveaway line to be eligible for the promotion. The special edition Cutler bobbleheads, sponsored by Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV-4, will be distributed only to Commodore fans. The game serves as homecoming for the Commodores and is an important Southeastern Conference Eastern Division encounter for both teams. Kickoff has yet to be announced.
