ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 12 Commodore lacrosse team travels to face No. 18 Cornell Tuesday at Schoellkopf Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Vanderbilt (9-4, 2-2 American Lacrosse Conference) has won seven of its last eight games, including an 18-11 victory over No. 9 Notre Dame on Wednesday.
Cornell (8-5, 3-3 Ivy League) won a 7-6 decision in the midweek over conference-rival Yale. The Big Red are led by sophomore Libby Johnson’s 21 goals this season.
Six Commodores have scored at least 21 goals this year, paced by junior Sarah Downing’s 43 tallies. Downing scored a season-high six goals for Vanderbilt on Wednesday.
Tuesday’s game is Vanderbilt’s final regular season contest of 2009. The Commodores next will travel to the 2009 ALC Tournament hosted by Penn State, April 30 through May 2. The NCAA Tournament then begins the weekend of May 9.
