NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt Lacrosse head coach Beth Hewitt announced the 2025 summer camp schedule on Tuesday morning, ranging from various ages and skill sets.
Campers will have the opportunity to learn from Commodore coaches, who have a combined 40-plus seasons of collegiate playing and coaching experience, highlighted by Hewitt who was an All-American and All-ACC selection during her college career as a midfielder at North Carolina, leading the Tar Heels to a conference title and an NCAA Final Four appearance.
Middle School Summer Camp: June 23-25
• Rising 5th-8th graders
• 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Whether your child is new to lacrosse or looking to refine their game, this camp offers high-level coaching and a great on-campus experience
Goalie Camp: June 25
• 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Learn from defensive coordinator and goalie coach Sophie Leva who is Marquette’s all-time leader in save percentage, sits second for wins in a single season and ranks third in career saves
Summer Elite Camp: June 25-26
• Rising 9th grade – 12th grade
• June 25: 12:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. (dinner included)
• June 26: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. (lunch included)
• Campus and facility tours available for parents and campers through the Vanderbilt Admissions Department prior to check in on Wednesday, June 25
• Learn from the entire Vanderbilt Lacrosse coaching staff and coaches from Austin Peay
“We are so excited to continue our summer camp tradition this June,” said Hewitt. “We have been very strategic in our planning efforts to provide a wide range of camps from middle school aged up to prospect camps to continue to grow the game of lacrosse in the Middle Tennessee area. We have some of the best coaches around participating in these clinics and can’t wait to teach the game we all love.”
