Lacrosse adds summer clinics

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt lacrosse team has added two summer clinics to its summer agenda, which come in addition to the Commodores’ Elite Camp in mid-July.

These two elite clinics, which will run June 29th and July 20th, are geared towards all Lacrosse skill ranges for participants from ages 5 – 18. The daylong clinics will focus on skills, position play and team concepts.

Each day clinic is $50 dollars, while the Commodores elite overnight camp, which runs July 12-14, is $575 and includes meals, accommodations and a camp pinny.

VU’s elite overnight camp is catered towards current high school/varsity players ages 13-18. It will focus on advanced skills, position play and team concepts with an intense competition.

Head coach Cathy Swezey, is in her 19th season at Vanderbilt, and will lead this summer’s camp and clinics. The two-time American Lacrosse Conference Coach of the Year will be joined by coaches Beth Hewitt and Shannon Gilroy.
