After a pair of night games to open the 2012 season, the Commodores will return to Vanderbilt Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 15 for a day game against non-conference opponent Presbyterian.
The Commodores and Presbyterian of the Big South Conference will kickoff at 11:30 a.m. CT and the game will be televised by CSS, Southeastern Conference officials announced on Monday.
Vanderbilt’s early kickoff versus Presbyterian comes after the Commodores open the season with night games againstSouth Carolina on Thursday, Aug. 30 and Northwestern on Sept. 8.
Kickoff for the South Carolina game in Vanderbilt Stadium is 6 p.m., CT. It will mark ESPN’s first broadcast of the college football season. Kickoff for the Northwestern game is 7 p.m., CT (Big Ten Network).
The SEC is not expected to announce any other start times for Vanderbilt games until the regular season begins.
