Johnson is Guest Tonight on WTVF 5+ ‘Sportsline’ Show Nashville, Tenn. – Vanderbilt Head Coach Bobby Johnson is tonight’s special guest on NewsChannel 5+ ‘SportsLine’, a television sports talk show that airs on Middle Tennessee Comcast cable systems. The program starts at 8:00 p.m. CT. Johnson, entering his third season at the helm of Commodore football, will discuss the upcoming season with WTVF NewsChannel5 sports reporter Eric Yutzy. Comcast subscribers can watch the show on channel 50. ‘SportsLine’ features conversations with many Middle Tennessee’s top sports personalities, including Johnson and several other Commodore head coaches and athletic administrators. The program encourages questions from phone calls from Commodore fans. Johnson directed the team’s last two-a-day workout Tuesday night, ending his third preseason camp with the Commodores. Starting Wednesday, the team moves into its typical in-season schedule, featuring an afternoon practice following position meetings. Like other Vanderbilt students, members of the Commodore squad also return to classes today as the fall semester gets underway. The Commodores open their season next Saturday, Sept. 4, against Southeastern Conference Eastern Division foe South Carolina.
