Jennifer Lewis Named to 2003 NSCAA/adidas Central Region All-America Team

Vanderbilt senior midfielder Jennifer Lewis was named to the 2003 NSCAA/adidas Central Region All-America First Team. She is one of 11 players named to the team and one of three SEC players selected.

“Jennifer had a tremendous career at Vanderbilt,” head coach Ronnie Coveleskie Hill said. “She is truly a gifted athlete with a passion for winning. She is one of the most technical, competitive and focused defenders I have ever seen and there is no doubt that she is one of the best players in Vanderbilt history.”

Lewis, a 5-8, Sr., midfielder, from Birmingham, Ala., played in all 17 regular-season games in the midfield and is a three-time All-SEC selection. She was one of nine seniors on the team, helping lead the Commodores to a 3-1-2 record in their last six games earning a No. 6 seed in the SEC Tournament.
