We wanted to come in here and play smart. We thought we could control the tempo of the game and I think our kids did a great job. They have SEC size but we played hard and gave them a good run. I have to give them credit, but we made plays tonight and I thought our kids responded well.” On the IUPUI defensive effort: “I thought we were really good defensively tonight. We had a good game plan going in. We put in some wrinkles and I don’t think there is a team in our conference that can beat us when we play like we did tonight.
