Introducing Vandyville!

VANDYVILLE IS COMING!
Vanderbilt Fans, fresh off two road football victories, our Commodores return to Dudley Field against a 1-0 Ole Miss squad this Saturday. What better way to get ready for the game than by stopping by Vandyville, the new pre-game pigskin party prior to every home game. In case you haven’t heard, Vandyville will feature kids’ activities, food vendors, Star Walk, a band and cheer parade, a 16 x 10 foot big screen, giveaways, and much more! We need all fans of the Commodore Nation to wear gold, arrive early, and visit Vandyville to hang out with other Vanderbilt faithful. Here’s what you need to know about Vandyville:

VANDYVILLE GRAND OPENING
September 17 vs. Ole Miss
Activities open at 8:30 a.m.
Located on the corner of Jess Neely Drive and Natchez Trace

GOLD T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY: Need a free gold t-shirt to add to your wardrobe? 1,000 gold shirts will be gvien away starting at 10:10 a.m., just prior to Star Walk. Come to Star Walk early and get a free shirt!

MORE GIVEAWAYS: Gold Shakers and Koozies will be given out randomly around Vandyville at the Ole Miss Game.

GOOD EATS: Several food vendors will be in Vandyville. Load up before the game and buy a hot dog, hamburger, or even a Chick-fil-A sandwich!

BAND AND CHEER PARADE: Bring a chair or blanket and grab a seat on the grassy hill on Natchez Trace. This will be the perfect spot to watch the Spirit of Gold Band and the Vanderbilt Cheerleaders parade through Vandyville just prior to Star Walk. While you’re waiting, hang out and watch the big screen television or mingle with our die hard tailgaters.

STAR WALK: The team needs you to cheer them on in full force as they walk from the McGugin Center into Dudley Field. Star Walk takes place about an hour and five minutes prior to kick-off. Once you see the Spirit of Gold Band marching through Vandyville, you’ll know they are on their way to Star Walk!

8:00 – 8:45 a.m. Last 45 Minutes of VU/Wake Forest game (ESPNU)
8:45 – 9:15 a.m. Vanderbilt Football Coaches Show / Arkansas Highlights (CSS)
9:15 – 9:30 a.m. Last 15 minutes of Sports Center (ESPN)
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. ESPN College Gameday (ESPN)
