Head Coach Scott Limbaugh on the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational
“This is certainly an event we circle on our schedule every fall. Golfers come to play at Vandy for opportunities like this against high-level competition on a PGA TOUR course. We are halfway through our fall season, and we’ve learned a lot about ourselves. Each player has to be honest with themselves, and if they haven’t played to their true potential, it’s time to do what it takes to be their best. We have had several new guys step up, and we are going to need more of that this week. I want to see us play a complete tournament, come out with the right energy, and focus on the right things.”

Vanderbilt at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational
This will be the third-straight season that the Commodores will play in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational. Vanderbilt looks to defend its team title at the Ben Hogan Collegiate, as last season, the Dores won the tournament with a score of 16-under 824.

Cole Sherwood claimed the tournament’s individual title after winning a playoff hole against Georgia Tech’s Christo Lamprecht. The All-American shot 3-under 67 in Round 3 to move up six spots on the player leaderboard to finish at 7-under 203 and force an extra hole.
