Nashville, Tenn. – Senior defensive back Casey Hayward has been named a Thorpe Award semifinalist joining the 15-man list as one of seven from the Southeastern Conference.
Hayward’s five interceptions this season lead Vanderbilt and place him second in the SEC. Over his four-year career the senior team captain has 13 picks that ties him for the second-most in Commodores history. Hayward is coming off a career-high six pass breakups against Arkansas.
