NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bri Gross is a unanimous preseason All-America Athletic Conference selection as announced by the league Tuesday.
The fifth-year senior earned honorable mention All-America honors from both ILWomen and USA Lacrosse Magazine after her senior season in 2022 and was a unanimous All-AAC first-teamer.
She finished the 2022 campaign leading the team in draw controls with 74 and was second in goals (31), points (41) and ground balls (32). She was also third in caused turnovers with 22.
Gross was named AAC Midfielder of the Week twice and AAC Honor Roll twice as a senior.
The Dores were voted by league coaches to finish third in the AAC this season behind first-place Florida and second-place James Madison.
The Commodores start their 2023 campaign February 4 with an exhibition against Ohio State in the indoor facility at the David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center. The first official home contest is Friday, February 10 vs. Colorado at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
