Q: Why did you choose Vandy over other schools?
Baker: “I chose Vanderbilt for its top-tier reputation, beautiful campus and competitive athletic program.”
Q: What are your academic goals while at Vanderbilt and long-term?
Baker: “Short term, I plan to pursue a double master’s degree in human development studies and marketing at Vanderbilt. Long term, I want to make a meaningful impact in the sports marketing industry.”
Q: What made you decide you wanted to continue lacrosse in college?
Baker: “Continuing lacrosse in college was a no-brainer for me as I have a strong passion for the game and competing at the next level. I love being a part of a team and forging lifelong friendships.”
Q: What would you say your biggest strength as a player is?
Baker: “My biggest strength is my competitive fire, I always give 100 percent and am willing to do whatever it takes to help my team win.”
What about Nashville are you most excited to explore?
Baker: “I am most excited about exploring the music scene Nashville has to offer.”
Q: What are your hobbies outside of lacrosse?
Baker: “My hobbies outside of lacrosse are cooking, hanging out with friends, shopping and attending other sporting events.”
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
Baker: “I am really good at pogo sticking!”
What is a random, fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
Baker: “I ran Hood to Coast twice – a 199-mile relay race from Mount Hood to Seaside in Oregon while raising over 200k for the American Cancer Society.”
