NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A trio of Commodore seniors and a pair of recent graduates were honored for their accomplishments in the classroom this past year.
Seniors Kayla Pruitt, Leah Peterson and Marley Sternberg along with graduates Eliza Clemens and Abby Quirk were named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll. They were five of 408 Division I women’s lacrosse players honored from 103 different institutions.
Peterson, an attacker from Hagerstown, Md., is majoring in Human Organizational Development. Pruitt, an attacker from Moorestown, N.J., is majoring in Child and Cognitive Studies. Sternberg, a defender from Blue Bell, Pa., is majoring in Cognitive Studies.
Clemens, a two-time IWLCA nominee, graduated this past May with a degree in Human Organizational Development. Quirk was also nominated for the second time, graduated with a degree in Human Organizational Development.
In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
