FirstBank Stadium Sold Out for Texas

Vanderbilt students should check their email for information on the student ticketing process

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The first match-up of ranked teams at FirstBank Stadium since 2008 will be played before a capacity crowd.

The athletics department announced Tuesday that Saturday’s game between No. 5/6 Texas and No. 25/25 Vanderbilt has sold out. Fans still looking to purchase tickets can find them on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of Vanderbilt athletics.

The process for Vanderbilt students to claim tickets begins today and continues Friday. Students should check their email for information on how to claim their ticket.

It marks the third sell out in four home games this season for the Commodores, after the opener against Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt’s win over top-ranked Alabama were both played before a full house.

Fans can get all the information they need on attending a game at FirstBank Stadium from the VUCommodores.com Know Before You Go section.

Kickoff against the Longhorns is set for 3:15 p.m. and the contest can be seen on SEC Network. The Vanderbilt Sports Network from Learfield will have the broadcast on 94.9 The Fan, the Vanderbilt Athletics App and SiriusXM channel 374.

It’s the first meeting of ranked teams on West End since 2008 when No. 19 Vanderbilt defeated No. 13 Auburn. It’s also the first meeting between Vandy and Texas since 1928, with the Dores holding an 8-3-1 advantage in the series.

Tickets remain available for the duration of Vanderbilt’s home schedule, which includes games against South Carolina (Nov. 9) and No. 7/8 Tennessee (Nov. 30). Click here to buy tickets.
