Vandy heads to Delaware to for Hawk Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt concludes the fall portion of its schedule in Delaware at Maryland-Eastern Shore’s Hawk Classic played Friday-Sunday at the Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Delaware.

Tourney Format

A standard format of five, 5-Game Bakers is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. CT Friday. The five team games Saturday begin at 9 a.m. CT and Sunday’s bracket of Baker games are at 7:30 a.m. CT.

A Note on Rankings

The NTCA has not conducted a new poll since the preseason rankings.

About the Tournament

Vanderbilt has won this tournament more than any other — six times — and, at one point, Vanderbilt had won five Hawk Classic titles in six years.

Last Time Out

Vanderbilt has been busy, playing in three tournaments in four weeks. Last week it finished third in a strong field at Stephen F. Austin’s Ladyjack in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to run its season record to 29-9.
