CHARLESTON, S.C. – The No. 3-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team seeks a successful ending to the 2025 Fall season, as the Commodores conclude the first half of its 2025-26 schedule at The Bryson Invitational this Monday-Wednesday at Daniel Island Club.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The Bryson Invitational, presented by Blackbaud, is hosted by the College of Charleston. It is a five-count-four, 54-hole stroke play tournament. Teams are scheduled to play 18 holes per day at the Daniel Island Club on the Ralston Creek Course, with each day starting at 7 a.m. CT. Tee times for Rounds 2 and 3 will be based on the results of the previous round.
Course Information
Teams will play on the Ralston Creek Course at Daniel Island Club. It is a 7,446-yard course that plays as a par 72. Against a stunning backdrop of natural saltwater marsh and tidal creek vistas, acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones has designed a true Lowcountry classic.

Vanderbilt Tee Times
Vanderbilt opens Round 1 on Monday between 7-7:40 a.m. CT from Hole 1. Vandy’s individuals tee off on Monday at 10:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. CT from Hole 11.

The Field
There will be 15 teams at The Bryson Invitational. A total of three programs were featured in the most recent GCAA Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. Ranked teams competing at Daniel Island Club are No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 12 BYU and No. 21 Wake Forest. The six teams receiving votes are Charlotte, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, South Carolina, and TCU. Duke, Liberty, Seton Hall, Wisconsin and Wofford and host College of Charleston will also be at The Bryson Invitational.

“It’s wild how fast this fall season has flown by as we are at our final tournament. I try to remind the guys how fast it all happens, so you have to embrace each moment you are in. This group has shown a desire to compete, and I am excited for our opportunity to finish the fall season strong. We are seeing guys step up and play with more consistency, which is encouraging. This is a new tournament, and we are excited for the opportunity as we want to have a strong finish to the fall.”
Vanderbilt at The Bryson Invitational
This will be the first time Vanderbilt will compete at The Bryson Invitational.
Last Time Out
Vanderbilt men’s golf team collected its second victory of the 2025-26 season, as the Commodores concluded the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab in a four-way tie for the team title with a three-round total of 10-over 850.
The Dores posted the second-best team score in Round 3, as Vandy went 2-over 282 on Tuesday to climb four spots up the leaderboard and end the prestigious Ben Hogan Collegiate in a four-way tie for first with No. 5 Texas, No. 8 Virginia and No. 14 North Carolina. It is Vanderbilt’s second team victory of the season, as the Commodores opened the 2025-26 campaign with a win at the Carmel Cup.
Turtle Point Invitational
Vanderbilt is sending senior Ben Loomis and sophomore Bowen Ballis to the Turtle Point Invitational, hosted by North Alabama, this Monday and Tuesday in Killen, Alabama.
The pair of Dores will play 36 holes on Monday at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club, then return on Tuesday to conclude the tournament. Fans can click the link here to follow the Turtle Point Invitational.
