ESPN College GameDay Coming to Nashville

Show will air on Vanderbilt campus prior to matchup with Missouri on Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt Football will host ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot prior to facing No. 16 Missouri on Saturday.

The show—which features host Rece Davis, analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban, college football insider Pete Thamel, reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims, and college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin—will take place from 8-11 a.m. and air live on ESPN, ESPNU and Disney+.

It will be the first time ESPN College GameDay will take place on the Vanderbilt campus since Oct. 4, 2008. The Commodores would go on to defeat Auburn 14-13 that day in improving to 5-0 that year.

Vandy—currently in the top 20 of both the Associated Press and ESPN Coaches’ polls—and the Tigers will meet at FirstBank Stadium at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN following the show.
