NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt lacrosse goalie Emme Martin was recognized by Inside Lacrosse Women Power 100 Rankings – Class of 2024, coming in at No. 31.
Out of Notre Dame Preparatory School in Maryland, Martin was named to the 2024 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland’s All-Conference Team, for the second time in her career. In 2022, she participated in USA Lacrosse’s National Team Development Program Combine for U-16 and is a two-time American Select Maryland A-team honoree.
The five-star recruit was also named to the 2021 Maryland Metro A-team and Athletes Unlimited Pro Futures Maryland Champion in 2021.
“Emme is one of the most talented goalies in the entire recruiting class,” said associate head coach Jill Kendall. “She has a work ethic that is second to none and she is ready to compete at the highest level. Her technical skills are impeccable, and her hand quickness is some of the best we have seen in years. Emme will be a force to be reckoned with over the next four years.”
Martin and the Commodores will kick off the 2025 season in mid-February. For more information about the Vanderbilt lacrosse program, please follow @vandylacrosse on Instagram and X.
