Education Day Set for Dec. 8

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s basketball will host Albany at 11 a.m. Dec. 8 for the program’s annual Education Day game.

Doors to Memorial Gymnasium will open at 9 a.m. Admission is free to all pre-registered students, teachers and chaperones for Kindergarten through sixth grade.

In addition to free admission, all students will receive a complimentary activity book in addition to engaging in a variety of activities throughout the game. To attend, schools must pre-register for Education Day by Nov. 24th.

Each school must provide the number of attendees that will be present. Attendee numbers may be updated up until the registration deadline.

Beyond the deadline, Vanderbilt Athletics will not be able to accommodate additional attendees. Teachers and chaperones must be included in the registration number. Registration is available here: Education Day Registration.

Vanderbilt Athletics will adhere to all COVID-19 protocols set by Vanderbilt University that are current on the day of the event. When updates are available, Vanderbilt Athletics will communicate all necessary information to the primary contacts for each school.

In accordance with the CDC and specific K-12 guidance, all visitors and Vanderbilt University students, faculty and staff engaging with minors are required to wear a face mask all times when indoors. Masks may be taken off temporarily to consume food or drink.
