Series History
• This will be the 22nd matchup between the programs in a series that Vandy leads 13-8
• The teams were league foes in the American Lacrosse Conference from 2002-2013
• The teams first met in Vandy’s inaugural season, 1996, resulting in a 21-7 Commodore victory
• The programs last met during 2014 when Ohio State, who was ranked #13 in the country, took a 16-5 victory in Music City

The Opponent
• After making 11 saves in the season opener, goalie Jocelyn Torres was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 11
• The Buckeyes had three selected to the Big Ten Preseason Watch list, Brynn Ammerman, Annie Hargraves and Jocelyn Torres
• Senior Brynn Ammerman returns to the Buckeyes for her final season, the attacker has yet to score this
season but has dished two assists in each contest

The Scouting Report
• Zoe Coleman leads the Buckeyes with five goals on the year, four of which came in the season opener against Denver
• Kate Tyack has four goals for the season most for Ohio State
• Ohio State returns seven of its top nine scorers from a season ago. Among the returnees is Brynn Ammerman, who had a team-high 28 assists and ranked second with 48 points last season

Last Time Out for the Dores
• Vandy got back in the win column after their midweek matchup at Mercer on Wednesday, 19-7
• The Dores saw goals from 10 different players, led by Brooke Baker who posted five point off four goals and an assist
• Anna Taraboletti posted four points off two goals and two assists while Shea Panzik added three points
for the black and gold off two goals and an assist. Senior Cate Bradley dished two assists, tied for the team lead
• Taraboletti and Sammy Nuchow each registered their first goal of the 2025 campaign. While Freshman
Bailey Lower and sophomore Avery Morton scored their first collegiate goals
• The two teams traded goals until Vandy connected on back-to-back scores to go up 4-3 after the opening
frame. The Bears scored three straight to take their only lead of the day before the Dores went on a 14-goal
scoring streak over the next two and a half quarters to seal the victory

AAC Preseason Midi of the Year
• Ahead of the 2025 season, Kemper Robinson was named 2025 AAC Preseason Midfielder of the Year. The senior posted 46 points off 36 goals and eight assists during last season, earning a spot on All-AAC First Team and AAC All-Tournament Team and earned weekly conference honors four times during the regular season
• Robinson finished last year with seven hat tricks, including at least one goal in 12 straight games
• The Owing Mills, Maryland native had two games with at least five goals, including one in last year’s season opener

Preseason Nods
• Vandy landed five student-athletes on the preseason all-conference team; Brooke Baker, Maddie Barkate, Molly Finlay, Alex Gladding and Kemper Robinson
• Both Baker and Robinson were unanimous selections
• The Commodores were picked to finish second in the conference behind James Madison

Comeback Season
• After suffering season-ending injuries ahead of 2024, senior Nancy Halleron and graduate Jaime Biskup made their return to the field in the season opener at Cincinnati
• Halleron, missed the 2024 season after earning 2023 All-AAC Second Team after a sophomore a campaign that saw 27 points off 22 goals and five assists
• Biskup, a transfer from Virginia, joined the black and gold ahead of the 2024 but suffered an injury during the fall season, keeping her out the entire season
• The grad student had a career-year during 2023 that saw 47 points off 36 goals and 11 assists
