BIG EAST Lacrosse: Vanderbilt lacrosse began its season with an 18-14 win over Kennesaw State on Sunday, after which junior midfielder Julie Blaze earned BIG EAST Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week honors. Blaze scored four goals on eight shots while dishing out two assists in the win. She filled up the stat sheet by claiming four draw controls and three ground balls along with her team-high six points.
