PALM CITY, Fla. – The No. 3-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team heads to the Atlantic coast this week, as the Commodores are set to participate in the 2024 Valspar Collegiate Invitational. The two-day event gets underway Monday at the Floridian National Golf Club and concludes Tuesday.
Tournament Format
The 2024 Valspar Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Houston, is a 54-hole tournament that takes place over the course of two days. The first two rounds will be held Monday, with the final round teeing off Tuesday.
Course Information
The 2024 Valspar Collegiate Invitational takes place at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida. It is a 6,943-yard course that plays as a par 71.
The Field
A total of 16 teams will participate in the 2024 Valspar Collegiate Invitational. Along with the No. 3-ranked Commodores, the field features a total of 11 squads ranked inside the top 25 of the Scoreboard rankings, powered by Clippd.

We only have two tournaments left before championship season and the storms of the regular season make you stronger. We can all be better if we continue to demand more of ourselves and each other.”

The Last Time Out
The No. 3-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team collected its fifth win of the season, as the Commodores won the inaugural Pauma Valley Invitational last Wednesday. Vandy carded 20-under 832 over three rounds of play at the Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, California.
Azalea Invitational Results
Rowan Sullivan paced a group of Commodores that were participating in the 2024 Azalea Invitational this week. He finished in a tie for seventh at 3-under 281.
Chase Nevins and John Broderick each placed inside the top 30 on the player leaderboard. Nevins finished in a tie for 25 after he carded 5-over 289. Broderick tied for 28th with a three-round score of 6-over 290. Ben Loomis and Vanderbilt signee Bowen Ballis each carded 9-over 293 to finish in a tie for 43rd.
