San Diego, Calif. – The Vanderbilt swim team made a splash in its first away meet of the 2015-16 season, defeating the Oregon State Beavers, but falling to San Diego State.
Sophomore Kara Lucenti had a great meet for the `Dores, taking first place in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.26) and 200 IM (2:06.18). Lucenti’s time of 2:26.15 in the 200 breast was the eighth fastest time ever recorded at the Aztec Aquaplex.
