  • Vanderbilt men’s basketball hosts Alabama on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Coliseum to open SEC play. The contest will air on SEC Network with Dave Neal and Pat Bradley on the call.
  • The Dores enter SEC play at 5-8 after claiming a 69-53 win over Dartmouth. Guards Ezra Manjon and Tyrin Lawrence powered the black and gold, scoring 23 and 22 points, respectively.
  • Manjon has scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games after racking up 22 at Memphis. He has reached double figures in all but one game this season and 87 times in his career.
  • Vanderbilt vs. Alabama is the fourth-most frequently played series in Dores history as the two squads meet for the 148th time Saturday. Alabama leads the all-time series 76-71.
