“It was a long, tough day out there today,” said Vanderbilt men’s golf head coach Scott Limbaugh. “The wind blew hard, and the course provided a great test. I’m pleased with the way we battled and fought all day long. There were a lot of really good things and also a lot of things we can do better. We had some guys play with a lot of toughness and focus, which is great to see. The challenge is to get everyone doing that and that will be the goal for tomorrow. You have to embrace it when things are difficult and keep a strong mindset, which isn’t easy to do. I’m excited to see all five of our guys embrace doing that tomorrow and compete to our standard.”
