NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt women’s cross country and track and field head coach Steve Keith has announced nine members of the class of 2020.
Nicole Anderson, Haley Bishop, Joslin Blair, Sydney Davis, Jenna Holland, Milan Ming, Lainey Phelps and Laine Roberts will join the Commodores next season.
Vanderbilt’s nine recruits hail from nine different states and includes three sprinters, four middle distance and distance specialists and a pair of pole vaulters.
“We’re always excited to welcome in a new recruiting class and this year is no different,” Keith said. “These nine women will add tremendous depth to some of our stronger event groups — sprints/hurdles/long sprints, pole vault, mid-distance and distance/cross country.
“With this past outdoor season canceled, I know that there will be no shortage of motivation for both the newcomers and the returners. I can’t wait to see everyone working together, eagerly anticipating the 2020-21 seasons.”
