NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Paul Lewis scored a game-high and career-best 18 points but Georgia topped Vanderbilt 76-64 on Wednesday night in Memorial Gymnasium.
Georgia (15-11, 5-8 SEC) shot 52.8 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from beyond the arc. Noah Thomasson led the Bulldogs with 17 points on 5-of-11 from deep. Russell Tchewa grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds while Jabri Abdur-Rahim added seven of Georgia’s 39 boards.
Vanderbilt (7-19, 2-11 SEC) held the Bulldogs to just 2-of-11 from range in the second half. The Dores had four finish with double figures behind Lewis. Ezra Manjon and Tryin Lawrence added 12 points each and combined for seven assists and nine rebounds. Ven-Allen Lubin finished with 10 points, marking six of the last seven in double figures.
