TULSA, Okla. – Vanderbilt senior Nick Cromydas and junior Vijay Paul will face their toughest tests of the fall beginning Monday at the 2008 ITA D’Novo All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
Cromydas and Paul will compete in the qualifying singles and doubles draws. The singles draw is composed of 128 players, while the doubles draw features 64 teams. The top 16 singles players and eight doubles teams will advance to the main draw, which will begin on Oct. 9.
Paul is ranked No. 80 in the preseason ITA rankings, while Cromydas is ranked 84th. Paul tied for the team lead in wins in 2008, and Cromydas led the team in wins against the SEC.
