Series History
• This will be the seventh meeting between the programs in a series that Vanderbilt leads 5-1
• The two programs are charter members of the AAC, with the first meeting coming in 2019 in Greenville
• Vanderbilt suffered its first ever loss against the Pirates last time they visited Greenville in a 15-10 decision favoring ECU
• The last meeting in Music City came in 2024 when Vandy won 14-13

The Opponent
• East Carolina enters the contest 4-8 overall (2-1 AAC), coming off a loss to top-ranked North Carolina 20-4 on Wednesday evening. ECU has won its last two conference matchups against Temple and Old Dominion
• The Pirates lead the conference in clearing percentage (0.518)
• The two programs have faced four of the same opponents this season including Coastal Carolina, Temple, South Florida and Clemson

The Scouting Report
• Leah Bestany has posted a team-high 32 points off 20 goals and 12 assists for East Carolina so far
• Kayla Wilkes leads the Pirates in scoring, posting 26 goals so far this season. The midfielder
• Goalie Jaime Behar has started all 12 contests so far this year for the Pirates, making 104 saves on the year and boasts the second-highest saves per game in the conference with 8.67. Behar was named AAC Goalie of the Week after making 21 saves across two games including a career day with 12 saves in the 11-10 overtime win for the program’s first ever victory over Temple
• Emma Magazu, who was named AAC Defensive Player of the Week earlier this season, has the third-best caused turnovers per game in the conference with 1.50. The senior defender has caused 18 turnovers so far this season and picked up 25 ground balls

Last Time Out for the Dores
• Nancy Halleron led all scorers with five points as Vanderbilt survived a late Temple push to come out with a 12-11 victory last Saturday
• Vandy had six scores, with Brooke Baker and Nancy Halleron posting hat tricks. Jaime Biskup tallied her sixth multi-goal performance in seven games
• Halleron added two assists in her performance while Cate Bradley, Sammy Nuchow and Molly Finlay also dished assists. In cage, Molly Joyce made five stops

 Another Week, Another Honor
• The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners Monday with Kemper Robinson earning AAC Midfielder of the Week for the second time the season
• Robinson led Vanderbilt to a key 12-11 win against Temple, improving the Commodores to 2-2 in conference play. Robinson scored two goals, picked up a game-high five ground balls, had three draw controls and caused six turnovers in the win
• The six caused turnovers are the most by a player in The American in a game this season, while she leads the conference with 22 caused turnovers in 2025. The midfielders career-high-tying five ground balls are the most by a Commodore in a single game this season
