• The Commodores kick off a four-match homestand Friday at 7 p.m. vs. LSU and Sunday at 1 p.m. vs. Ole Miss
• Both matches will be streamed on SEC Network+ with Andrew Allegretta and Katie Myers on the call

THE LAST TIME OUT
• The Commodores fell 3-1 (25-19, 16-25, 25-17, 25-18) to RV Florida, as the Gators held the Dores to a hitting percentage of just .106 and outblocked Vandy 13 to 4
• Vanderbilt volleyball freshman Maya Witherspoon registered a season-best five service aces, with zero errors on 14 serves
• Jackie Moore was the sole Commodore to record double-digit kills with 11
• Kamryn Chaney matched her season high with 11 digs
• After dropping the first set, the Dores answered with a dominant win on set 2 (25-16), hitting .310 and limiting the Gators to one block
• Witherspoon recorded four of her five aces in the second set, going back-to-back on two separate occasions

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
• LSU stands at 9-8 overall and 2-4 in SEC play with conference wins over Arkansas then-No. 23 Florida
• Tonya Johnson is in her fourth season as head coach and has led LSU to two winning seasons and the 2022 NCAA Tournament
• Jurnee Robinson, named preseason All-SEC and to the 2025 AVCA Player of the Year Watch List, leads the conference in kills (5.05) and points (5.62) per set and ranks top 10 in the NCAA in both categories
• So far this season, Robinson has been named SEC Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions
• Nia Washington, who joins the Tigers as a transfer from Ole Miss, was also named to the 2025 AVCA Player of the Year Watch List and is averaging 3.17 kills and 2.28 digs per set this season
• In 2024, Washington was an All-America honorable mention and a first-team All-SEC selection
• The Tigers are coming off a 3-0 loss to third-ranked Kentucky, where LSU registered 10 blocks and 49 digs to hold the Wildcat offense to a .211 hitting efficiency

SCOUTING THE REBELS
• Ole Miss visits Vanderbilt after a match at RV Missouri on Friday
• The Commodores and Rebels met once during the 1979 SEC Volleyball Tournament in a match which Ole Miss won 2-1
• Ole Miss, 9-8 overall and 1-5 in SEC play this season season, notched a five-set win at Oklahoma at the beginning of conference play
• Bre Henry, now in her third season as head coach, led the Rebels to an 18-12 record, 7-9 in SEC matches, and the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in 2024
• Gabi Placide, a transfer from Northern Colorado, ranks third in the SEC in kills (4.54) and second in points (5.17) per set and was added to the AVCA Player of the Year Watch List for her efforts
• Cammy Niesen broke the Rebels all-time digs record at Mississippi State
• Setter Mokihana Tufono, who earned AVCA All-South Region honors in 2024, was named preseason All-SEC earlier this fall

PASS IT ON
• Kinney is averaging a 2.47 passing score this season with a 61 percent positive pass percentage on 251 total attempts
• Hailee Mack has compiled a 2.42 passing score on 366 total attempts this season and has a 60 percent positive pass percentage
• At Texas, Mack passed a 2.79 with a 71% positive pass percentage and a 0% error plus overpass percentage

ACE UP THEIR SLEEVE
• Vanderbilt ranks in the top half of the SEC in service aces per set, averaging 1.53
• At WKU, Chaney registered six aces, matching her career high. It is the tied for the third most aces by an SEC player in a match this season
• Chaney is the second-ranked player in the SEC, tied for 17th in NCAA Division I, averaging 0.53 aces per set
• Witherspoon more than doubled her previous best aces (2) at Florida with five
• She made zero errors on 14 attempts, holding the Gators to a 1.47 passing percentage
