Commodores Pick Up Two Recruits

Men’s tennis head coach Ian Duvenhage announced his first Commodore recruiting class when he received National Letters of Intent from Scott Lieberman and James Moye, two Top-100 recruits.p>

Lieberman, a native of Riverwoods, Ill., took fifth- place in the Illinois High School Association’s Boy’s Tennis State Final in 2004-05. That same tournament saw current Commodore, freshman Nick Cromydas (Glenview, Ill.), take fourth place. Lieberman has amassed a 34-22 record in a multitude of various tournaments and events, including the USTA National Opens. He is listed as a four-star recruit by www.tennisrecruiting.net. He is ranked the No. 4 recruit in Illinois, and the No. 7 in his region

Moye of Winter Park, Fla., also competed in the 2004 USTA National Opens, and won the event. Moye has a record of 57-36 and also preps at Trinity Preparatory School. According to www.tennisrecruiting.net, he is a five-star recruit. Moye is ranked No. 19 in Florida and No. 27 in the Southeast.
