Selected Vanderbilt Games to be Broadcast Nationwide

SIRIUS, the premium satellite radio provider delivering commercial-free music and sports programming to cars and homes across the country, and CSTV: College Sports Television, today announced an agreement with Vanderbilt University to broadcast selected Commodore sports events on SIRIUS College Sports Radio. The comprehensive radio play-by-play sports programming will represent many of the top-ranked colleges around the country.

SIRIUS will broadcast a package of Vanderbilt football games and SIRIUS will broadcast select men’s and women’s basketball games. Not all Commodore games will be taken by SIRIUS.
“We are awaiting word regarding which of our games will go nationwide,” says Meghan Molnar, who handles Vanderbilt’s television and radio network operations for International Sports Properties. “For that long-distance fan especially, our inclusion in this quality package is a big plus. Only 23 major conference institutions were selected so we are pleased to be included in the network.”

SIRIUS College Sports Radio will showcase college sports most competitive teams and storied conferences, including the Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, and Pac-10. In addition to Vanderbilt, SIRIUS will broadcast football, basketball and other events for: Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC.
