NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Head coach Cathy Swezey once again dipped into her New Jersey and Northeast roots to fill out the 2017 recruiting class. 10 of the 11 incoming players hail from New Jersey, Maryland and New York with the final coming from the state of Tennessee.

Swezey is exciting about the incoming class and the different set of skills each player will bring to the team.

“We are excited about our signing class,” said Swezey. “We are filling positions all over the field and feel confident that the freshmen will have an immediate impact. They have been honored at a high level on their high school teams and will bring that success here.”

The class consists of two attackers, seven midfielders, and two defenders. Some of the group’s accolades include US Lacrosse All-Americans (Fornia, Gearhardt), US Lacrosse Academic All-Americans (Gearhardt, Orban), state champions (Daly, Fornia, Gearhardt, Scarrone), state runner-ups (Dadino, Furlong) along with many other individual state and conference awards.
