NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On the eve of the highly-anticipated 2025 football season for reigning SEC Coach of the Year Clark Lea’s Commodores, Vanderbilt University announced Friday that the opening game against Charleston Southern is officially sold out.
As a new era of Commodore football brings together the Vanderbilt and Nashville communities, Saturday also marks the third consecutive sellout at FirstBank Stadium and sixth full house in the past eight games at a home stadium reimagined by the historic Vandy United campaign. Following the debut of north end zone seating a season ago, Saturday will be the debut of the new south end zone project. New features and amenities include premium seating, expanded concessions, new video and audio elements and an expanded concourse that fully encloses the stadium.
Vandy fans interested in attending the Dores’ first game of the 2025 season can still look to purchase tickets on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of Vanderbilt athletics.
The Commodores and Buccaneers will meet at 6 p.m. Saturday, with the game also broadcast on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
Vanderbilt’s game day information hub helps visitors get the most out of their FirstBank Stadium experience, while fans are still able to purchase single-game tickets and mini-plans for six other home contests this fall, including matchups with LSU, Auburn and Kentucky.
