NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt rallied from a back-and-forth contest to defeat East Carolina 15-13 on Saturday afternoon at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
Vanderbilt (7-6, 3-0 American) registered a 4-0 run to secure the comeback victory. Molly Krestinski led the charge with four goals, including the go-ahead score early in the fourth quarter.

Gabby Putman added four goals and controlled the draw with a team-high five draw controls, while Hayden Miller finished with three goals and two assists. Shea Panzik recorded two goals and two assists, and Logan Risenhoover dished out a game-high three assists.
Sarah Goodison’s five goals led East Carolina (4-7, 1-2 American), while Maya Koebke added three and Katelyn Sclafani totaled five points on two goals and three assists.
Defensively, Vanderbilt forced nine turnovers, led by Emma Davis’ three and held a 16-15 edge in draw controls. Emme Martin made eight saves in goal to earn the win.

Vanderbilt closes its nonconference portion of the schedule on Wednesday hosting Lindenwood. The opening draw is set for noon and can be seen on ESPN+.
