Kristen Vlahos
Assistant Coach
Kristen Vlahos is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Vanderbilt soccer program in 2021.
Vlahos makes her way to Nashville after serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Georgetown for six seasons. During her time in Washington, D.C., Vlahos helped the Hoyas win three Big East Tournaments and make the NCAA College Cup in 2016 and 2018.
A former professional soccer play, Vlahos was drafted 23rd overall in the 2013 NWSL College Draft by Seattle Reign FC.
Vlahos put together a decorated playing career during her time at Wake Forest. She helped the Demon Deacons qualify for the 2011 NCAA College Cup and was the first player in program history to earn NCAA All-Tournament Team accolades. She graduated fifth in program history in career games played (88) and assists (18).
Vlahos graduated from Wake Forest in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics. She went on to earn her master’s degree sports industry management in 2018.
