Assistant Sports Performance

Jamey Mroz enters his first year as an assistant coach on the Vanderbilt Football Sports Performance staff.

Mroz rejoins recently named Vanderbilt Football Sports Performance Director Bill Hughan. Mroz interned under Hughan with the New York Jets during the 2012 NFL preseason.

Last year, Mroz assisted the strength and conditioning effort of the New York Giants. He has also served as interim director of Sport Performance at Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012 and interned for strength staffs at Boston College, Harvard University and UMass-Amherst.

Mroz played football at Springfield (Mass.) College, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science from the college in 2011. He completed a Master’s in Health and Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana in 2013.
