Caden Thomson
Analyst • Defense
Caden Thomson joined Vanderbilt in 2020 and currently serves as an analyst working with the Commodore defense. He spent the previous two seasons as defensive quality control.
Prior to Vanderbilt, Thomson was a graduate assistant and volunteer student assistant at Louisiana Tech.
As an offensive graduate assistant at Louisiana Tech, Thomson worked with slot receivers, tight ends and fullbacks. The Bulldogs went 10-3 in 2019, capping the season with a 14-0 victory over Miami (Fla.) in the Independence Bowl.
From 2016-18, Thomson served as a volunteer student assistant at Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs captured four consecutive bowl victories with Thomson contributing to the staff.
Thomson lettered as a receiver and quarterback at Hallsville High School in east Texas. He also lettered as a pitcher on the Hallsville baseball team.
In 2018, Thomson earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Louisiana Tech. He is working toward a master’s degree in leadership and organizational performance from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College.
