NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt lacrosse team earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Squad accolades. Additionally, 14 student-athletes secured a spot on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for their work in the classroom.
The Commodores qualified for the team honor for having a collective GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year. Vanderbilt is one of 319 schools from across NCAA Division I, II and III and NAIA to win the honor. Vandy posted a 3.714 team GPA for the 2020-21 academic year.
For student-athletes to achieve the place on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, they must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. A total of 862 student-athletes from around the country earned a spot on the honor roll.
